Hyzon appoints new Chairman of the Board in major shakeup

USA – Hyzon Motors Inc, a manufacturer of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles based in Rochester, New York, announced that it has appointed Erik Anderson as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, taking over from George Gu who will step down on August 24, 2023. Additionally, the Board has elected Andrea Farace to serve as Vice Chairman of Hyzon’s Board. This major board room shakeup comes weeks after Matthew Foulston joined the board as Chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee. Anderson is expected to bring some much-needed stability to the company and leverage his many years of experience at executive management level.
As a member of Hyzon’s board since 2021, Anderson brings more than 30 years of experience working across various sectors having served as Vice Chairman of Topgolf Callaway Brands, the Executive Chairman of Topgolf Entertainment Group and Executive Chairman at Singularity Group. Anderson has also founded the WestRiver Group and has managed four Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs).
