Krone integrates data with Dutch trailer rental giant, TIP

Netherlands / Germany – In August this year, trailer manufacturer, Krone Commercial Vehicles SE (a subsidiary of Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co KG) of Werlte, agreed to integrate its telematics data with Dutch trailer rental agency, TIP Group. This deal will involve integrating the real-time trailer generated by Krone's telematics system with the TIP trailer telematics software to produce more reliable data. This data, Krone states, will improve the customer experience for those that hire Krone trailers from the Dutch trailer rental firm.
Ralf Faust, Managing Director at Krone said: "Digital transformation necessitates data standardisation, system interoperability, and open interfaces. Our partnership with TIP is a manifestation of our commitment to these principles."
