Renault Trucks adds refurbished truck and electric van to product range

France – Renault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, has added two vehicles to its product portfolio: a refurbished range of long-haul tractor units, and a battery electric mid-sized van.
The refurbished truck range, the ‘T Red’, is the result of Renault Trucks’ new “circular economy” strategy of repairing and reselling used vehicles and parts instead of scrapping them. The company is taking some of its used ‘T’ range trucks and revamping them at its facility in Bourg-en-Bresse. The T Red features grey and red paintwork and graphic lines that resemble the company’s new logo. Inside, the dashboard and seats are reupholstered with grey and red trimmings and details.
