Phoenix Motor receives its first electric school bus order

USA – Phoenix Motor Inc of Anaheim, California has announced its entry into America’s electric school bus market, following an order for ten battery electric vehicles to serve in the District of Columbia.

The Type A school buses will be built by Pegasus Specialty Vehicles LLC of Dunkirk, Ohio on Phoenix Motor’s battery electric cab-chassis. Phoenix Motor’s platform is a Ford E-450 installed with its electric drive system, which provides a range of 150 miles.
