Cummins acquires Faurecia aftertreatment assets in Europe and North America

USA / France – Cummins Inc of Columbus, Indiana, USA has announced the completion of an acquisition deal with Forvia Group* of Nanterre, France for European and North American assets belonging to the Faurecia brand.
First broached in May, the deal comprises the sale of two plants – one in Cummins’ home city of Columbus, and one in Roermond, Netherlands – involved in Faurecia’s commercial vehicle exhaust aftertreatment business. Cummins will take over Faurecia’s existing customers. The transaction was fulfilled in cash by Cummins to the value of EUR199.2m.
