McNeilus announces first order for 50 units of upcoming electric refuse truck

USA – McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc of Dodge Center, Minnesota has announced the first order for its fully integrated electric waste collection truck since its unveiling earlier this year.

Named ‘Volterra ZSL’, the upcoming truck will reportedly be built in a new facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The first order comes from Republic Services Inc of Phoenix, Arizona, which has ordered 50 units. Deliveries will begin in June 2024.
