MAN to upgrade electronics and dashboard of TGE van range

Germany – MAN Truck & Bus SE, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Munich, Bavaria, has announced that it is upgrading the dashboard and electronics hardware in its ‘TGE’ line of large-sized vans in order to provide greater comfort and safety to the driver.
The electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture in the upgraded TGE will be completely renewed, with new generation control units, sensors, and cameras along with additional assistance systems which will become part of the standard equipment for the first time. These include traffic sign recognition, active lane departure, driver attention monitoring, and parking assist.
