Renault presents fourth-generation Master van at Solutrans 2023

New Renault Master with Renault Trucks Red Edition livery

France – At Solutrans, held at Eurexpo in Lyon, France between 21-25 November, Renault SA of Boulogne-Billancourt premiered the fourth generation of Renault ‘Master’ vans, featuring improved range, more cargo space, and a new look.

The new Master is available now as a diesel or battery electric vehicle; a fuel cell electric option is forthcoming. The diesel is fitted with a new engine rated between 105 and 170 hp, along with a new 9-speed automatic transmission. For the electric option, customers have two energy capacity options: 40 kWh or 87 kWh. The latter provides the vehicle with a range of over 410 kilometres. The cargo space of the default panel van configuration is larger by 100 mm, and the opening width of the side door is increased by 40 mm.
