Goodyear displays new generation truck tyre range at Solutrans

France / USA – Akron, Ohio-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company used Solutrans 2023, hosted in Lyon, France to unveil a new generation Kmax truck tyre range with new sizes available from Q1 2024. The new Kmax S (steer) and D (drive) Generation Two 17.5 and 19.5 were on display at the show. According to Goodyear, this second-generation Kmax range has enhanced fuel efficiency, due to a lighter casing and new enhanced compounds.

Besides these new tyres, Goodyear displayed its Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as well as its drive-over tyre inspection system that reads tyre condition, known as CheckPoint. This all-forms part of Goodyear’s Total Mobility solutions that integrate web and mobile applications to its existing product range, to maximise fleet efficiency, productivity and reduce the TCO for fleet operators.
