Eaton Cummins transmission available at Kenworth Mexico

Mexico / USA – Ohio-based power management firm, Eaton Corporation, announced that its Eaton Cummins Endurant XD Series 18-speed automated manual transmission is now available in select Kenworth (T680 and T880) trucks in Mexico and parts of Latin America, further expanding the company’s product range throughout the two regions. The transmission is paired with the Cummins X15 engine, designed for peak performance for on-highway heavy-duty vehicle (HGV) applications. The Endurant XD features “Eaton’s twin-countershaft design with helical gears optimised for fuel efficiency and delivers up to 2% improvement in fuel efficiency when compared with the UltraShift Plus.”
