BYD set to deliver 140 electric buses to Naples in 2024

Italy / China - BYD Co Ltd of Shenzhen, China is set to supply 140 electric buses to the Naples public transport municipal operator, ANM. The order consists of 11-, 12- and 18-metre electric buses, set to be delivered next year. The monetary value of the deal has not been disclosed.

The 11-metre-long B11 low-floor has a 348-kWh battery pack, providing a 350 km range on a single charge. The 12-metre-long K9UD electric bus has a capacity for 90 passengers and is equipped with a 422-kWh battery that provides a 450 km range on a single charge. Additionally, the vehicle allows for both plug-in conventional CCS (Combined Charging System) charging as well as pantograph charging.
