Iveco Group announces EUR 1 billion investment at Solutrans

Iveco S-eWay

France / Italy – Last year at the Solutrans event held in Lyon, the Iveco Group based in Turin, announced that the company is to invest EUR 1 billion into product renewals as well as a new truck range next year, the biggest single investment cycle in the company’s history. Iveco is renewing its entire product line next year. With this investment, Iveco is aiming to drive productivity, driver experience, sustainability and connectivity. Capital spending on R&D will be ploughed into reducing CO2 emissions, fuel efficiency (for ICE vehicles) technology and a new zero-emissions product range.

The next generation S-Way heavy-duty truck, will be upgraded with an all-new FPT XCursor 13 multi-fuel engine, delivering 10% fuel savings in diesel and gas. The electric version (S-eWay) will offer a range of 500km on a single charge.
