Nikola agrees 10-year strategic partnership for expansion of hydrogen fuel network in California

USANikola Corporation, an electric truck manufacturer based in Phoenix, Arizona, has signed a ten-year agreement with FirstElement Fuel Inc (FEF) of Irvine, California to expand the hydrogen refuelling network for heavy trucks in the state of California. 

The strategic partnership agreement involves the appointment of FEF as one of Nikola’s authorised fuelling partner. FEF recently opened a fuel station in Oakland which can accommodate heavy duty trucks. The location will boast a fuelling capacity of approximately 200 trucks per day, incorporating a fast fill lane for dispensing H70 fuel (reportedly a world first).1 It was built with the financial support of the California Energy Commission
