Prevost receives historic order for up to 381 coaches from MTA

Canada / USA – Prevost, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Sainte-Claire, Quebec, Canada, has announced a historic order for up to 381 coaches from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) of New York City, the corporation responsible for public transportation in the state of New York.

The contract stipulates a firm order for 250 coaches, slated for delivery between 2025 and 2026. It includes options to purchase an additional 131 coaches over an unspecified period. Prevost said it will retain and hire one hundred new employees at its Sainte-Claire facility thanks to the order.
