REE Class 4 electric chassis cab certified by U.S. authorities

P7-C with box van body by REE Automotive

Israel / USAREE Automotive Ltd of Herzliya, Israel has announced that its ‘P7-C’ electric chassis cab is fully certified by the U.S. authorities and is now being delivered to customers. 

The P7-C is a Class 4 chassis cab built on the ‘P7’ chassis, a battery electric “skateboard” or vehicle platform developed by the Israeli company. It is being built locally in the U.S. in Austin, Texas; hence, it is eligible for federal tax credits of up to USD40,000 per vehicle. It can be upfitted with a range of bodies, including the box van body shown above.
