ACEA elects Domenico Nucera (President of Iveco Bus) as Chairman of its bus and coach division

Belgium – The Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), has elected Domenico Nucera (President of Iveco Bus) as Chairman of its bus and coach* division for the year 2024 on a one-year term. Nucera will work alongside, the ACEA President, Luca de Meo (CEO of Groupe Renault) who is serving in his second one-year term and has been in close consultation with EU policymakers over the now proposed (provisional agreement) Euro VII legislation, of which the organisation has been highly critical, namely for moving resources from battery-electric vehicle technology back to internal combustion engines and consequently potentially slowing down the transition to climate neutrality.
