Iveco medium-duty Tector 170 E truck leads Argentinian CV registrations in 2023

Argentina – While registration figures for Iveco’s Tector 170 E medium-duty model fell by 19% in 2023 to 1,684 units (2022: 2,079) the model remained the most popular truck in the market, according to ACARA, Association of Automotive Dealers of the Republic of Argentina. In fact, sales outstripped the markets’ second most popular model, the Mercedes-Benz Atego 1729 S by more than two to one. Mercedes-Benz dominates otherwise with a strong line up of heavy and medium-duty trucks – further down the table are registrations of coach chassis down (38.2%) from 385 units sold in 2022 to 238 in 2023. The ‘Other’ models account for more than a third of the registrations and includes several other key brands.
