CV market in Brazil falls in 2023 due to adoption of Euro VI technology

Brazil - The Brazilian commercial vehicle market registered 128,777 trucks and buses (commercial vehicles at 3.5 tonnes and above GVW), a drop of 12.05% compared with 146,429 units sold in 2022. These were the official figures supplied by Fenabrave (National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors), which is based in São Paulo (SP).

However, the addition of the tables for bus and trucks registered in 2023 v 2022 supplied by Fenebrave, produces a slightly different total and variance – see below.
