Peru’s CV market slips 2.3% in 2023 but December's rally of 9.8% represents sign of a recovery

Peru - The Peruvian CV market finished the year in 2023 with the sale of 17,327 trucks and buses, 2.3% down in the 17,729 vehicles sold in the previous year, according to data from the Automotive Association of Peru (AAP).

The light, medium and heavy-duty truck and tractor market fell by 1.4% to register 15,095 units compared with 15,311 in 2022, while the bus and coach (incl. minibuses) segment showed a decline of 7.7% registering 2,232 units in 2023 compared with 2,418 in the 2022.
