MAN breaks ground on expansion to logistics centre in Salzgitter

Groundbreaking ceremony at MAN logistics centre in Salzgitter

Germany – On 1 February, a groundbreaking ceremony was held by MAN Truck & Bus SE, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Munich, Bavaria, at the site of an expansion to the company’s logistics centre in Salzgitter, Lower Saxony.

By the end of the year, MAN aims to complete construction of a new 52,650-square-metre building, with a capacity of up to 40,000 commercial vehicle parts. When the building opens in mid-2025, it will be used primarily to store and distribute components for electric vehicles, including batteries and battery parts.
