Brazil / Mexico - Suspensys Sistemas Automotivos Ltda, a manufacturer of axles and suspension systems for commercial vehicles and a subsidiary of Randoncorp, participated at Expo Transporte ANPACT 2023, held in Guadalajara, Mexico in mid-November to highlight its electric drive axle, e-Sys, for semi-trailer applications.

The e-Sys is an electric energy recovery and auxiliary traction system developed exclusively by Randoncorp subsidiaries. It works by recovering energy generated during braking and during descents, converting it to electrical energy and storing it batteries or other storage device. The stored energy is then used when additional traction is needed such as when climbing and overtaking. Depending on the application, load and road condition, fuel savings of up to 25% can be attained, stated Suspensys.
