Nikola rejects slate of five “dissident” nominees to board of directors ahead of annual general meeting

USANikola Corporation, a manufacturer of electric trucks based in Phoenix, Arizona, has announced that it has rejected a slate of five “dissident” nominees to the company board of directors which it claims was put forward by “an entity controlled by former Executive Chairman Trevor Milton” ahead of the company’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders later this year. 

Nikola stated that, on 26 January, it received a notice of intention from M&M Residual LLC to nominate five individuals for election to the company’s eight-member board. The following were named: Cole Cannon, Derek Johnson, Hans Peterson, Paul Southam, and Dave Sparks.
