UNVI carries out first road tests with new 7-metre battery electric bus

SpainUnidad de Vehículos Industriales SA (UNVI) of Ourense, Spain has announced that, in December and January, it carried out the first road tests with its new battery electric midibus, which it presented at Busworld Europe last October. 

In December, four Catalan public transport companies tested the 7-metre ‘eC24s’ in the Barcelona metropolitan area: Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona, Sagalés, Moventia, and Tusgsal. In January, UNVI carried out tests in its home city of Ourense.
