Forsee to supply battery systems for BAE Systems’ demonstrator trucks

Zen Plus battery

USA / France – Smart battery systems supplier, Forsee Power SAS of Paris, France, will supply American power and propulsion solutions business, BAE Systems Inc based in Endicott, New York, with its Zen Plus battery system to equip BAE’s Gen3 powertrain on a class 7 demonstration truck. The Zen plus utilises NMC lithium-ion cells and is composed of 3 packs of the Zen 77 Plus providing 231 kWh for an average range of 321 kms (200 miles). The batteries are to be produced at Forsee’s new manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio, beginning in Q1 2024.
