Einride and Heineken deploy five e-trucks across the Netherlands and Germany

Einride equipped eActros 300

Netherlands / Germany / USA – Einride AB*, a freight mobility company that provides digital, electric and autonomous technology, has partnered with Dutch brewer, Heineken, to provide a fleet of digitally optimised electric heavy-duty trucks, using renewable electricity, between Heineken’s Den Bosch brewery in the Netherlands and Duisburg distribution centre in Germany.

Einride equipped five Mercedes eActros 300 trucks with its Einride Saga driving software, provided the necessary charging equipment (Kempower) and facilitated the deployment and fleet management of the logistics operation. The vehicles transport 10 full truck loads a day, covering approximately 540km per truck, saving an estimated 930 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. This helps Heineken reach its target of net zero by 2040.
