GX 337 ELEC single-deck bus

France – Heuliez Bus, a subsidiary of the Iveco Bus brand based in Rothais, France, announced that it won a EUR 125 million contract to supply 200 electric buses to Marseille public transport operator, Régie des Transports Métropolitains (RTM). Over a third of RTM’s fleet will become electric, after this order as the company hopes to be 100% electric by 2027.

RTM has ordered 200 new generation 12.1 metre GX 337 ELEC single-deck buses, equipped with pantograph charging rails. The first 35 will be delivered by Q4 2024, with the order set to be completed by Q4 2027. The model will be manufactured at Heuliez’s plant in Rorthais.
