Tata Motors continues delivery roll out of 921 e-buses to Bengaluru

100 more Tata Motor Starbus 12 e-buses delivered to Bengaluru

India - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, through its wholly owned subsidiary, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd1, also of Mumbai, has delivered a further 100 StarBus EV buses to Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), as part of a contract for 921 units of Tata Motors’ Urban 12m electric buses2 in Bengaluru. (Deliveries to date account for approximately 40% of the contract, Tata Motors states).

As part of this major consortium purchase contract agreement by Convergence Energy Services Limited at the start of 2022, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd is to supply, operate, and maintain all 921 units 12-metre low-floor electric buses for 12 years.
