Krone Group adopts cautious outlook despite record revenue in 2023

Germany – Agricultural machinery and on-road trailer builder, Krone Group (Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co KG) of Spelle, Germany, achieved a record revenue of EUR 3.2 billion in 2023 compared to EUR 2.5 billion in 2022. Regardless, the company is uncertain about 2024, due to the feedback from European farmers and transport companies, forcing the company to implement cost-cutting initiatives in 2024, primarily by staggering agricultural trailer and wagon production.
Of the EUR 3.2 billion, EUR 2,143.2 million came from the Commercial Vehicle Division, an increase of 26.9%, compared with the EUR 1.7 billion in 2022. EUR 857.7 million came from domestic trailer services and sales, an increase of EUR 166.9 from 2022. Revenues outside of Germany accounted for EUR 2,301.3 million in 2023, an increase of EUR 467.1 million from 2022 figures.
