Iveco Group sells fire truck manufacturing unit

Italy / Germany – Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer, the Iveco Group based in Turin, announced that it has reached an agreement with German private equity firm, Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, to sell its firefighting vehicle manufacturing unit (Magirus GmbH) for an undisclosed fee, pending regulatory approval. Magirus manufactures firefighting vehicles and equipment, produced across Germany, Italy, France and Austria. Last year, the unit accounted for 2% of Iveco’s revenues.
