Karsan wins first contract in the Netherlands

Netherlands / Turkey – Turkish bus manufacturer, Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Tic AŞ (“Karsan”) of Bursa has announced its first contract in the Netherlands, with the export of two level 4 autonomous e-Atak electric buses to RET (Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram), the largest public transport operator in the city of Rotterdam. The buses will enter service in November 2024, carrying passengers between Meijersplein metro station and the Rotterdam Airport. According to Karsan, RET will wait until at least 2025 before rolling out autonomous transport on this route.
