Renault electric truck with glowing paintwork sets off on European tour

Renault Trucks 'Diamond Echo'
France – A heavy-duty battery electric truck featuring unique paintwork was launched from the Renault Trucks plant in Bourg-en-Bresse, France on 11 April and will cover over 10,000 kilometres in Europe over the next three months to promote the manufacturer’s ‘E-Tech’ range.
The Renault Trucks ‘E-Tech T’ which set off earlier this month has been dubbed ‘Diamond Echo’, referring to its unique paintwork based on the Renault diamond logo. The cab features an electroluminescent design applied by German firm Demon Paint GmbH. With the company’s ‘LumiLor’ paint, the design will glow when subjected to an electrical stimulus, according to Renault Trucks.
