Brazilian truck output increases 19.7% in the first quarter of 2024

Brazil – In the period January to March 2024, truck production reached 29,327 units, an increase of 19.7% over the 24,497 vehicles manufactured in the same period in 2023 according to the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA).

Of the total number of trucks produced in the first quarter of this year, 17,405 units were heavy-duty truck models, 6,959 semi-heavy trucks, 682 medium-duty trucks, 4,145 light-duty trucks and 136 semi-light trucks.
