Solaris to deliver up to 354 buses to Rome in 2024 and 2025

Solaris mild hybrid bus destined for Rome
Poland / Italy – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has announced two major orders from the Italian capital city of Rome, comprising 110 mild hybrid buses and 244 CNG buses, to be delivered in 2024 and 2025.
The 110 mild hybrids – diesel models which uses braking energy to generate auxiliary power – are 18-metre articulated buses which were selected as part of a tender process conducted by the Gubielo purchasing group. These will be delivered to Rome this year.
