Van sales in Ecuador improve during the first quarter but sales of trucks and buses slump

Ecuador - Ecuador recorded sales of 3,669 commercial vehicles in the first quarter of 2024, a decrease of 6.2% compared with 3,911 units invoiced in the same period last year.

AEADE, the entity that manages the activities of automobile companies in Ecuador, based in Quito, reported that the van category was the only one with a positive result, with the sale of 1,253 vehicles, 4.0% more than the 1,205 units sold in the first three months of last year.
