Kia to launch 'Tasman' pickup truck in global market

South Korea - Kia Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, says it plans to launch a mid-size pickup truck in 2025 targeting global markets.

Kia said the new “Tasman” will be a multi-purpose model aimed at the “working” and “life-style” sub-segments of the global pickup truck market. The company is following the lead of sister company, Hyundai Motor, which launched the Santa Cruz pickup truck in 2021 - a model based on the Tucson SUV chassis targeting mainly the lifestyle segment.
