Waabi opens autonomous trucking terminal near Dallas, Texas

Waabi autonomous trucking terminal in Lancaster, Texas
Canada / USA – Waabi Innovation Inc, a tech firm based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has signed a multi-year lease on a terminal located in Lancaster, Texas, USA which will become the new base for its testing and development of self-driving trucks.
Waabi reportedly began testing trucks installed with its ‘Waabi Driver’ system in Texas last year in partnership with Uber Freight. This involved goods haulage on roads between Dallas and Houston. At the Lancaster terminal, located near Dallas, Waabi will “refine” the infrastructure, operating processes, and customer services required to commercialise driverless goods transportation.
