Phillips telematics to be installed on Inland trailers

USA / Mexico – Inland Trailer of Querétaro, Mexico has announced a partnership with Phillips Industries Inc of Santa Fe Springs, California, USA, agreeing to integrate Phillips’ telematics products in its semi-trailers, either ex works or as retrofits.
Phillips products which Inland Trailer will install in its new build trailers include camera systems (such as ‘CargoVision’ and the latest product, the ‘Rear-Vu Backup Camera’), ‘Permalite’ interior lighting, and the ‘Smart7’ telematics hardware. These are intended to make Inland’s semi-trailers safer and cheaper to run. They will be included on all new trailers and will be made available to customers who want to install them in their existing fleets.
