Peterbilt celebrates over 5,000 orders and 1,000th delivery of Model 589

1,000th Model 589 delivered to Mike Lowrie Trucking

USA – Peterbilt Motors Company, a subsidiary of Paccar based in Denton, Texas, has announced that its premium Class 8 truck, the ‘Model 589’, has already received over 5,000 orders since its launch last August.

In June, Peterbilt also celebrated the delivery of the 1,000th Model 589 to a customer based in Dixon, California. Mike Lowrie Trucking, which accepted the 1,000th truck, started out in 1947 with a used Peterbilt and now operates nearly 250 trucks of that brand in its fleet.
