Daimler Truck NA appoints Kevin Bangston as President and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation

USA – In May, Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA) of Portland, Oregon appointed Kevin Bangston – currently President and CEO of Thomas Built Buses – as President and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), as part of a new leadership structure within the group’s Specialty Vehicles division.
Bangston, who replaces Jeff Sather in the leadership role at FCCC, will lead the two DTNA subsidiaries under a new structure where he is responsible for key business areas in Specialty Vehicles, including recreational vehicles, walk-in vans, delivery vehicles and commercial, shuttle, and school buses. He will manage the strategic vision, operations, and business growth across these segments.
