Isuzu Motors to launch L4 autonomy business with Gatik AI partnership

USA / Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Yokohama in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture, announced it has agreed to invest USD30m in US-based autonomous driving technology company, Gatik AI to strengthen its autonomous logistics programme.

Isuzu Motors, in a statement confirmed it has agreed to “further enhance the development of Isuzu’s North American autonomous driving business. Isuzu will invest US$30m in Gatik, forging a strong partnership between the two companies in the pursuit of realizing mobility services based on Level 4 autonomous driving.”
