ACT Expo 2024: TICO launches next-generation electric terminal tractor

TICO's next generation terminal tractor at ACT Expo
USA – At the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, held between 20-23 May at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Terminal Investment Corporation (“TICO”) of Ridgeland, South Carolina launched an electric terminal tractor with a new powertrain suited for heavier duty tasks than its predecessor.
TICO’s next-generation ‘Pro-Spotter EV’ switches out the Volvo Penta driveline used in the previous model for either a ZF central motor or a Dana e-axle. Both options can be coupled with four American Battery Solutions storage packs providing 208 kWh, while six packs can be installed with the Dana option exclusively to provide 312 kWh.
