Modine launches new thermal management system for EVs

USA – Modine Manufacturing Company of Racine, Wisconsin has expanded its ‘EVantage’ portfolio of HVAC products for electric vehicles with a new control system which is designed to plug easily into the vehicle chassis.

The ‘Cabin Climate System’ is a single box integrating several components, including the compressor, coolant pump, and heater, as well as the master thermal controller and firmware. Five inlets – two for heating, two for the refrigerant, and one high voltage port – make for “plug and play” seamless integration in the chassis of a van, truck, or bus.
