New American e-truck platform maker Harbinger receives new venture capital funding

USA – New American OEM Harbinger Motors Inc, based in southern California announced that it has received funding (amount undisclosed) from American venture capital firm, ATEL Ventures Inc, to increase production capacity. John Harris, Harbinger CEO explained that the funds will be used to expand manufacturing capacity with its commercial launch slated for Q4 2024.

These finances, in particular, are to be allocated for the procurement of new manufacturing equipment to meet its 4,000 binding vehicle pre-orders of its medium-duty “step van” chassis. Its clients include Bimbo Bakeries USA and Thor Industries, the largest RV manufacturer in the world. Furthermore, U.S. CV dealers have placed significant orders, including Doggett Equipment Services Group (500 units), GATR Truck Center (500 units), Ethero Truck + Energy (200 units) and Campbell Supply (125 units).
