Harbinger Motors has received funding from ATEL Ventures Inc, to expand manufacturing capacity in order to meet its commercial launch slated for Q4 2024.

Harbinger announced USD 400 million in (4,000 binding vehicle pre-orders) orders of its medium-duty electric truck chassis. The company has produced a patented proprietary electric platform (EV stripped chassis) that is sold to dealers for bodying. Harbinger’s electric chassis is available in three different wheelbases, including 158, 178 and 208 inches, and in four different gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWRs), ranging from class 4 through 6.

Harbinger Motors will employ Sibros’ ‘Deep Connected Platform’, a software suite which is intended to improve vehicle performance and safety through full life cycle management of vehicle data.

The new joint venture, called ElectroForge, will begin developing high-power, low-mass drivetrains for CVs (Classes 3-8) from Kalyani Powertrain's facility in Pune, Maharashtra.
