CanadaNikola Corporation, a manufacturer of electric trucks based in Phoenix, Arizona, has opened its first hydrogen fuel station in Ontario, the first of its kind in the Canadian province for heavy commercial vehicles.

The ‘Hyla’-branded fuel station was opened at the end of July in Etobicoke, a district within the city of Toronto. It is located on the premises of trailer manufacturer ITD Industries Inc, which partnered last year with Nikola to sell electric trucks through its Canadian network. Nearby are three motorways: Highway 401, Highway 427, and the Queen Elizabeth Highway.
