Germany / Italy – At the upcoming IAA Transportation event (September 17-22) in Hanover, Germany, Italian powertrain manufacturer FPT Industrial (owned by the Iveco Group), will emphasise its advancements in sustainable transportation technologies, focusing on low-emission and zero-emission solutions. The company will showcase a variety of powertrain systems, including natural gas-powered engines, and electric propulsion (e-propulsion) systems. Additionally, they will present energy storage systems like batteries and battery management systems for commercial vehicles.

The company has embarked on a dual-track strategy by investing in both ICE (developing more sustainable ICE engines) as well as battery-electric zero-emission powertrains (e-propulsion and battery storage solutions) for the electric CV market.
