DAF Trucks UK appoints Louis Jones to lead EV & Connected Services Director

Louis Jones, DAF UK EV & Connected Services Director

UK / Netherlands – DAF Trucks Ltd of Thame, the UK subsidiary of Dutch truck manufacturer DAF Trucks NV of Eindhoven, Netherlands, has appointed Louis Jones to the role of EV & Connected Services Director effective immediately. Jones will lead the development of DAF’s electric vehicle (EV) programme in the UK, overseeing sales, aftersales, the dealer network’s EV strategy and the rollout of charging infrastructure. He will report to Gareth Halliwell, Business Planning Director as well as MD, David Kiss. Jones has significant experience in the Truck OEM market, having previously worked for Scania and Mercedes-Benz UK. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Lancaster University.
