Nikola appoints Thomas Schmitt as CCO

USA – Nikola Corporation, an electric truck manufacturer based in Phoenix, Arizona, has appointed Thomas Schmitt to the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately.

Schmitt spent much of his early career at FedEx, where he eventually became CEO of its supply chain subsidiary. More recently, he has served in executive roles at freight transportation companies Schenker and Forward Air. He joins Nikola from the latter, where he held the positions of President, Chairman, and CEO.
