Navistar unveils revamped HV series truck with S13 integrated powertrain

Redesigned International HV by Navistar

USA – During an event at its proving grounds in New Carlisle, Indiana, Navistar Inc of Lisle, Illinois unveiled a redesigned version of its heavy vocational truck line installed with the latest ‘S13’ integrated powertrain for vocational applications.

The new truck is a revamp of the ‘International HV’ range which was launched in 2019 to replace the ‘WorkStar’. The redesigned HV will come with the S13 as standard, which eschews components such as the exhaust gas recirculation cooler and diesel oxidation catalyst. The S13 is paired with a ‘T14’ automated manual transmission with two crawler gears, together making the truck more productive and easier to maintain than before, according to Navistar.
