BYD unveils E-Vali electric van at IAA Transportation for Europe

BYD’s newly unveiled E-Vali battery-powered van
Germany / China - Battery vehicle manufacturer, BYD Auto Company Ltd of Shenzhen, China unveiled the new ‘E-Vali’ battery-powered delivery van at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover, Germany, as the company stepped up its expansion into the European commercial vehicle market.
The E-Vali comes with a choice of 3.5-ton and 4.25-ton gvw options and is targeted at the “last-mile” local delivery segment. The van is powered by BYD’s blade batteries powering an electric drive motor with a maximum output of 100 kWh. The van has a range of between 220 km and 250 km on a single charge, depending on the model, and comes with intelligent driver assistance features.
